Kevin choses to volunteer because he wants to help those who cannot help themselves. He has a soft spot for dogs who don’t have a home and volunteering helps him deal with the loss of his dog, Kirby. Kevin began volunteering in February and it has been very rewarding for him. Kevin also adopted a dog from CA Humane this year, Carl!
Candi chose to volunteer because she loves animals and wanted to make a positive impact in our community. Candi also volunteers to honor the memory of their late dog Kirby. She enjoys getting to know each dogs’ personalities. Here is a quote from Candi; “The dogs are so joyful and appreciative, it is clear their day is improved when we spend time together, and I love that I can do something that makes them happy.”
