“I love dogs, and I have always wanted to volunteer to work with them. Finally, in October, I attended my orientation, and I was hooked. Getting to spend time with all the amazing dogs and getting to know their personalities, their quirks is something I look forward to all week. Nothing is better than knowing that they are adopted out and I was lucky enough to be a small part of their journey.”
Carla has been an impeccable volunteer during her time at CA Humane. Not only does she work directly with our dogs, but she also trains new volunteers, helps at events, and assists us with laundry/dishes. We cannot thank Carla enough for her time spent in shelter.
