This is Stephanie, Volunteer of the Month for the month of December.

Meet Stephanie Mottl, she has been volunteering with CA Humane since January 2023. Stephanie decided to volunteer because she wanted something to do while looking for a job and she wanted to get experience working with animals. Stephanie wanted to work with animals since she was small because she loves animals. She grew up around animals and wanted to continue to be around them. Stephanie also takes photos of our in shelter cats and shares them on our volunteer Facebook page for all volunteers to see. “Working with the cats has calmed my mental health and made me feel relaxed. Volunteering at CA Humane I have made some new friends. I love volunteering, taking photos, and sharing their stories with my friends and family. Thank you for having me as a volunteer.” Thank you for your commitment to our cats in shelter and for sharing their stories. Congratulations Stephanie!
