Nicole and Claude started volunteering 15 years ago at our annual garage sale. The first 5 sales were only weekend sales and were held at 5 different locations. “The sales were really slow, and the money was a pity, but it helped to have a few cats fixed.”
Before the sale, once they began being held at the Pidherney Centre, the volunteers would go upstairs and look at the sale floor, it was all shiny and glasses glowed with pride of a job well done. “That was the first time we made a real impression on the public.” After that all of the sales were successful. “The best one so far was in June even though it was more difficult than previous sales.
