Kathryne Bridges has been volunteering at the Humane Society since August 2025.
Before volunteering, Kathryne was looking for work at a veterinary clinic after completing her VTA (Vet Tech Assistant) training. However, she decided to volunteer at a local shelter instead during her final year of high school. She chose the Red Deer Humane Society because she enjoys working with people to make a difference in animals’ lives, and she loves animals, especially cats for the impact they’ve had on her own life. In her free time, Kathryne enjoys crocheting, walking dogs, training her cat, and caring for farm animals whenever she has the opportunity.
