Meet Robbie! He has been a volunteer with the Central Alberta Humane Society since November 2024. He joined the CA Humane team because of his appreciation for animals and to support his mental health rehabilitation.
Robbie has been attending the Red Deer Recovery Community since July 2024 and was eager to regain independence while giving back. His work at CA Humane is not just for his own growth but for the wellbeing of the dogs, cats, rabbits, snakes, and all animals that rely on human care and love to thrive.
Robbie has always found it easier to connect with animals than people, but his time here has opened his mind in new ways, helping him see the world differently.
