Meet Laura Hill, our chosen Volunteer of the Month for September! Laura has been volunteering since May 2023. She volunteers in our Cat Cuddling Program and helps with fundraising events as an event volunteer. She spends her days cuddling our cats in shelter which builds their confidence with people and increases their chances of adoption.
Laura started to volunteer after her cat Meeko passed away. “I wanted to help other cats in her memory. I have seen many cats find their forever homes and it has really helped me feel better. I will always miss Meeko, but I know she is happy that I am helping other cats find their forever homes.”
Laura has been an amazing volunteer for CA Humane and has made friends along the way. She participates in our volunteer Facebook group frequently and is a pleasure to have at CA Humane. Thank you, Laura!
