Say hello to our beautiful Penelope! This lovely lady is as sweet as they come and just happens to be a little extra special, Penelope is deaf. But don’t let that fool you! According to her amazing foster, working with Penelope is a breeze! She may not hear your voice, but she picks up on body language, hand signals, and vibrations like a pro! All it takes is a slightly different way of communicating, and you’ll find she’s just as interactive and affectionate as any hearing cat. Penelope hasn’t had much exposure to other animals yet, but she’s proven to be one curious kitty! We truly believe she could thrive with another friendly feline companion to help show her the ropes and keep her company, she seems to have that social spark just waiting to shine. She’s also a social butterfly with people and hasn’t met a human she didn’t instantly adore. Whether it’s curling up by your side for a snuggle or following you around the house like your tiny, silent shadow, Penelope is always ready to show you some love!
