This is the Winters Family, Volunteers of the Month for the month of April.
The Winters started volunteering as a family in 2017, when their oldest son needed to get volunteer hours for his grade 6 class. They also volunteered at other organizations besides Central Alberta Humane Society, but this was the one place they all enjoyed coming to the most. The Winters’ sons, Zachary, age 17, and Riley, age 15, spend most of their time with the cats. While Jason and Jennifer, spend their time in the laundry room. They focus on washing, drying, folding everything, and often trying to organize the shelves to maximize the capacity for storing the cleaned blankets, towels, cloths, etc. Spending time at the CA Humane, helping out, is something that the Winters hope to continue doing for many years to come.
Thank you to the Winters family for their years of dedication and for making CA Humane a cleaner, more organized space!
