Thank you to everyone who attended our AGM last night as we reflected on the past year.
We would like to take this opportunity to extend a warm welcome to Heather Monteith, who was elected to our Board of Directors. We believe that Heather’s skills and experience will be invaluable to our organization, and we are thrilled to have her on board.
We are also pleased to announce that Vince Jackman and Oxana Flores have been (re)elected to their second term on our Board of Directors. We appreciate their continued commitment to our cause and look forward to working with them for another term.
On a bittersweet note, we bid farewell to our retiring Board of Directors Co-Chair, Chad Evans. Chad has been an instrumental part of our organization, having completed three consecutive terms on our Board of Directors. His hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm have been inspiring, and we cannot thank him enough for his invaluable contributions to CA Humane. We also extend our gratitude to his spouse Amber, who has volunteered with him for our Bingos and other events.
Finally, we want to thank all of you for your ongoing support. Your presence, your contributions, and your passion for animal welfare make all the difference, and we are grateful for each and every one of you. Together, we can continue to make a positive impact on the lives of animals in our community.
