About Me...

Hey there! I’m Scout! A sensitive soul with a soft heart and a bravery level that increases dramatically once I know you’re safe. When we first meet, I might be a little shy, new people and places can make me pause and take everything in. I like to observe, assess the vibes, and make sure you pass my very important “kind human” test. But here’s the thing…once I realize I can trust you? Oh wow. I warm up fast. Like, “where are you going and can I come too?” fast. When I bond with my person, I bond with my whole heart. I’ll be your quiet companion, your gentle little buddy, and your soft presence nearby while you go about your day. I’m the kind of cat who makes you feel chosen, because when I give my trust, it’s the real deal. I could do well with another friendly feline buddy, especially one who’s calm and respectful. Having a cat friend around might even help boost my confidence! As for dogs, I’m not totally sure yet. A mellow, cat savvy pup might be okay with slow introductions, but I’d definitely need patience and understanding while I figure it out. What I’m really hoping for is a home where I can settle in at my own pace, feel safe, and let my sweet personality shine. Once I do, you’ll see just how loving, loyal, and special I am. The shy ones? We love the deepest. If you’ve got a little patience and a lot of heart, I think we could be something pretty wonderful.
