Hi, I’m Athena! I’m a sweet 1 year old German Shepherd mix who is looking for someone special to help me become the confident girl I know I can be. I can be a little unsure when I first meet new people, but once I have some time to get to know you and build a bond, my sweet personality really starts to shine. I’m the kind of girl who needs a little patience and understanding while I learn that I’m safe and that I can trust the people around me. I’m still working on building my confidence, so I would love a patient owner who is willing to let me take things at my own pace and help me discover new things in a positive and encouraging way. I may need a little extra time to settle into my new home, but once I feel comfortable, I have so much love to give. I get along best with calmer dogs who can respect my space and help me feel comfortable.
