Inspiring & heartwarming stories from Central Alberta's adopted pets.
Sunny's Adoption Story
Meeting Sunny in the shelter for the first time, I knew he was going to be a huge work in progress. Having preexisting anxiety issues as well as digestive issues I'd have my hands full. The first few weeks were interesting as expected but as time passed and Sunny found his comfort zone he relaxed a little. He is no longer on his medications and digestive issues have eased. He is still the most timid dog I've ever met but also the most gentle. He also gets along great with April and Comet my two cats. Sunny has so much love to give kindness to share he just needs patience and understanding. Here's to future growth and new adventures.
