Molly's Adoption Story
We adopted Molly in 2008. I had been looking for a smaller dog and came down to the animal shelter every day for a week to find a dog for us. Molly was always sitting there in the kennel at the end. Like most folks at that time, I only knew Pitbulls from what I had seen on the news, which was not good. We took her on a walk behind the facility and she was wild, pulling and going crazy in the grass. Took her home after stopping and stocking up on toys and beds, put her in a kennel at bedtime. When I woke up in the morning she had broken out of the wire kennel and was sleeping on the pillow next to me - body under the blankets and face to face with me. lol. She never left my side after that.
She came to work with me every day until it was her time to go in 2017. She helped me raise my babies after they lost their mom by loving them so much and giving them somewhere soft to cry into her hugs. She showed hundreds of people how amazing, sweet and loving Pitbulls can be with a strong owner. She was that one in a lifetime pup that changed everyone she met.
