Lümi's Adoption Story
We had seen pictures of Lümi and though we weren't looking for another cat, as we already had two, she was so cute. When we inquired about her we found out she had a rough start, being thrown in a snowbank on the side of a highway, left to freeze at only a few months old. Someone had found her and luckily saved her from hypothermia. I went in to visit her and fell in love immediately. Lümi was a very small and flat faced little cat. She had to be kept in the staff office because she was depressed and didn't do well in a cage. Upon bringing her home, she immediately took to our older cat Snickers. They formed an amazing bond and lay together every day still. Lümi was on medication for inflammatory bowel disease and had an allergy to the protein in cat food. Within a few months she was off of the medication and eating normal cat food. All she needed was a loving home and some friends to heal her. She's the best and we love her more than anything.
