Inspiring & heartwarming stories from Central Alberta's adopted pets.
Lenny's Adoption Story
We had recently lost our two beautiful seniors and I was constantly looking at the humane society just checking what was coming up. I stumbled across a dog named Oliver and called to see if we could book in a viewing. The woman who answered the phone told me he was adopted but his sister was available. I didn’t hesitate and told her that I would like to come as soon as possible. She told us Friday - I pulled the kids from school and made my husband leave work and we drove to red deer from Calgary. The kids had no idea where we were going. We finally arrived and met her almost instantly. It was love at first sight and the rest is history. We are madly in love with our beautiful girl and can’t imagine this life with our her. Meet Lenny, formally know as Olivia.
