Inspiring & heartwarming stories from Central Alberta's adopted pets.
Gizmo's Adoption Story
My family has had several cats adopted from the Central Alberta Humane Society over the years so it just felt right to adopt my first cat from there too. I went with the intention of just visiting but I fell very quickly for Gizmo (formerly known as Coyote Pete). He’s such a goofy, loving cat who loves to camp, go for walks, and give love to everyone who pays attention to him! He greets me every day after work by literally jumping into my arms for some snuggles and I wouldn’t want it any other way! I’m so grateful to have such a funny and loving cat in my home.
