Eeva's Adoption Story
On August 27th, we will be celebrating Delilah's Gotcha Day. I wanted to share an update much sooner, but it's hard to put this amount of love into words. She is now known as Eeva, a Finnish name meaning "life" or "breath". She really is my whole life. Dealing with some mental health issues, I can truly credit her with keeping me here, and safe. I was considering another name at first, but that one meant "graceful" and in that moment she was attacking and trying to shred my duvet so that wouldn't work. Haha
It might sound crazy to say she is the perfect cat, but she is everything I've ever looked forward to in owning a kitty of my own. We are a great match for each other.
Some of her favourite toys include:
- hair ties
- floss picks
- toy mice, and really nothing else from her toy basket
- her tunnel
Eeva hates salmon and likes to hold your hand. She is always complimented on how sweet she is by the vet.
Some of her favourite lounging spots include:
- the top of the fridge
- a half-finished crochet project that was to eventually be made into a basket
- the backside of my (her) gray backpack
- chairs, non-specific
