Inspiring & heartwarming stories from Central Alberta's adopted pets.
Chance's Adoption Story
I just want you to know that Chance has settled in rather seamlessly. He hopped out of our truck, ran to the gate, scoped out the yard then into the house for discovery.
We went for our first walk together. I tired him out... right until I started watering... this man is literally insane over water! He loves loves loves playing with the hose!
Today the first words we are working on are no and sit. He's clever, I can tell with some patience he's going to get this he seems to really be understanding "no" (thank goodness!)
I will continue to keep you updated. He slept on me most of the way home, he's perfect in a vehicle. He's eating well... like I think the dude likes it
I will send you updates as we go! Thank you for approving us to adopt him, he has already stolen our hearts.
I have also learned the signs for "good" and "boy" so he's getting all the good boys too!
Much love to you all!
