Buster & Bonnie's Adoption Story
We were looking to add a cat to our fur family and we came across Buster. There's something goofy about orange cats and when we saw his photo we knew he had to become ours! We were so surprised to learn that he had been waiting almost a year to find a home and we couldn't wait to adopt him. We went to meet him but he had a kitty cold and was in a separate room so we could only look through the glass at him. That didn't deter us! When we found out he was the cat whisperer/tamer of barn buddies and needed a friend we decided to adopt a friend for him as well!
Bonnie had the softest fur we'd ever felt. She'd been waiting for 6 months to find a home after being surrendered when her owner passed away. She had bowel issues it was thought and needed a special diet. That didn't stop us as we believed, along with the lovely staff that it was most likely stress related and would resolve itself.
Buster took about 5 seconds to make himself at home and rules the house! He has no fear and hangs out with the dogs and Bonnie as well. He doesn't meow but chirps and makes the cutest sounds. He talks non-stop and makes his presence known! He has a sweet and goofy personality that makes us laugh all day long!
Bonnie took a little longer to warm up but Buster sure tamed her! They now play together and hang out together. She loves to sleep with you and her bowel issues resolved and she is a happy, sweet little girl. She is starting to come out of her shell and show us her sweet and playful personality. She never misses the opportunity for a pet or a cuddle.
Adopting both of them was a great decision and they have added so much joy to our family.
