About Me...

Meet Meela 🐾
Meela is a 9-year-old Belgian Malinois cross who proves that age is just a number! This high-energy, driven girl is always ready for her next adventure, but she’s just as happy soaking up snuggles with her favourite people. She absolutely loves playing ball and being part of the action!
Meela is looking for an active, experienced home that has had high-energy dogs before and can keep her both physically and mentally engaged. She also has a complicated relationship with food and will gorge herself if given the opportunity. She currently eats using scatter feeds, as even slow feeders haven’t been enough to slow her down, and eating too quickly can cause her to vomit. Her new family will need to be mindful of her feeding routine.
Meela is dog-selective and may not be a good fit for a home with cats due to her high prey drive, although cat testing can be discussed.
If you’re looking for a fun-loving adventure buddy who still appreciates a good cuddle, Meela might just be your girl! ❤️
