About Me...

Hi, I’m Buttercup!

I’m a sweet girl with a medium energy level who is looking for a loving, patient family to call my own.

I came to this shelter from another rescue, where it was noted that I struggled with being left alone. Since arriving here, I’ve shown some signs of anxiety, but that’s not unusual when everything around me is new and changing. What helps me most is being around people I absolutely love human companionship and will happily seek you out for comfort, affection, and reassurance.

I’m looking for a home that understands I may need some extra support as I settle in. A consistent routine, positive reinforcement, and a gradual approach to building my confidence when alone will help me thrive and become the best version of myself.

When it comes to other dogs, I’m a bit picky and choosy about my canine friends, so any potential dog siblings should meet me first to make sure we’re a good match. As for cats, I still need to be tested to see how I feel about living with them.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who loves people and is ready to blossom with a little patience and understanding, I might be the perfect match for you!

Interested in meeting me?
Please contact the girls at reception to make an appointment. I can’t wait to meet you and find my forever home!
