Kasanga was found as a really scared and pregnant She had 5 babies at CAHS. Eventually her and her babies went into foster care in a room with limited hiding spaces for them where her foster mom earned her trust somewhat.. After her babies left, she really showed who she can be. She would come out of her bed when her foster mom went in the room and once sitting down, she would purr and rub her legs for pets. Her foster mom was able to pick her up on her lap for some petting and then she would come on her own some. Kasanga loved to play with her foster mom and play fetch when toys were thrown towards her. Once let out in the foster home daily, she was really interested in following the cats there. She would do well with a buddy that likes her too. She would sit on the couch sometimes beside the foster mom and other cats or pulled onto the lap. She would stay on the lap while petting and loving was happening. She can still startle and run. Kasanga got attached to her foster mom so she could get attached to someone else with time and patience. Could you be her trusting saviour and patient to work with her? Steps are needed. She just needs to know you'll be good to her and she'll be safe. She will do well in a quiet home.
