Inspiring & heartwarming stories from Central Alberta's adopted pets.
Odin's Adoption Story
During my trip to Central Alberta Humane Society on September 4th 2021, I found Odin in a cage by himself, sitting with his head up against the back wall. I was told that he had been brought back to CA Humane by his previous family, on account of being too aggressive with other cats. So, I took him home to start a small family of our own. He soon became happy, comfortable and curious.
After two years, I began to feel bad for spending so much time at work and decided to see how Odin would react to other cats. Flash forward to now, July 2024. Odin is a very happy, fun-loving older brother to 2 sisters.
Thank you, Central Alberta Humane Society for introducing me to my protector, companion and best friend, Odin.
